I've been playing MMOs for over 20 years. In that time I've gotten quite adept at spotting the double speak raiders use to try to get more epeen content at the expense of everyone else. I've also seen the same attempts they used in this very thread to try to turn it around and say it's the non-raiders trying to get everything. You can gather I don't particularly like raiders, if you want to know why just look at most MMOs who listened to them and in the end made only raiding rewards good, WoW is the most extreme example, but there are many others. So yeah, when I see them trying their old tricks in yet another MMO I will absolutely call a spade a spade. So, anything that asks that we move away from the current formula......could only possibly be for the benefit, and at the request, of raiders, despite their having the most content to thereby lose?...of '8-man raid patch -> 24-man raid patch & basically unused sidecontent -> 8-man raid patch -> 24-man patch and grindy rehashed sidecontent -> 8-man raid patch -> 24-man raid patch', etc, with a single dungeon strapped to each...
I'm glad Haurchefaunt died.
Tataru needs to die somehow. So does G'raha.
Actually all the Scions need to die.
Rolelocking Glamors is fine.
Genderlocking glamors is fine.
Viera + Hrothgar shouldn't have had the resources wasted to make them. Could have been used to make the character creator better.
Your Miqo'te/Au ra/Viera in skimpy clothes is not original, stop asking people what they think, you look like everyone else that does it.
EW felt disingenuous bringing back all the Scions as if they're sacrifice didn't matter.
Then, let's see an example of that which would benefit raiders by, as per what you quoted, removing guarantees as to raid content -- i.e., where "let's mix thing up by moving beyond the current content formulas (the backbone of which is raids and all else is merely a tack-on)" is double-speak for "give us more raids (and screw anyone who likes content that is not called a "raid" because we only care about raids, despite that term somehow including both 24-mans and ultimates, which could scarcely be more different from one another."I've been playing MMOs for over 20 years.
