FFXIV Has the Population to Support an ELO system for Duty Finder / Party Finder

If you wanna have a system that selects people based on your listed desired criteria, we already have that. It's called Party Finder / Friend List / Linkshells. Not even kidding.

The Dudyfinder is there to match-up people efficiently, with only one criteria in mind: Demand. If you don't want to be part of this randomly generated new party, you are free to group up by other means.

Iirc ELO is already inappropriate for team based PvP, where it's used a bit too often atm (with questionable results). xD Poor guy.

You don't need this in FFXIV, most of the stuff you can do blindfolded and as for savage and ultimates... as long as you know your job well... and not standing in stupid, then anyone can completes those as well.

The goal of an MMORPG PVE has always revolved around beating the boss for loots. The keyword here is boss, it's an AI that have patterns.

ELO only works for PVP. Where the difficulty of the content is closely related to actual player's skill and not AI. The difficulty of PVE is being set in stone - normal, extreme, savage, ultimate.

But the difficulty of PVP is set by the players participating in a match. Therefore you see ELO in MMO PVP and MOBA, not PVE.

If you only want to play with people of a specific skill level, you're better off joining a static than expecting Party Finder to do your homework for you.

Do you, as a chocobo, have you papers? Do you have the proper permits? Licenses? Vaccinations? You'll need to present a 50 page resume as well just for consideration. Oh, and make sure you have a voice chat program so you can chat with a GC representative. They've been trying to reach you about your chocobo's extended warranty.
