Let's talk Dark Knights

Ok, let's revive this topic again.
So I have had an lvl90 DRK for a while now, and this is my thoughts so far. First of all, I have never played a healer in this game, so I will not give any insight on that topic, but if you're a high-level healer, please tell us the good and bad sides of a dark knight from your POW.
So, first of all, it is, in my opinion, abit squishy. Still, playing it right and being careful around mechanics, I'm 90% of the time the last one to die in a party wipe, so I'm happy with that. In my opinion, it also seems to do a hell a lot more dmg than any warrior or PLD I have played with. Such a dmg output is good, in my opinion, and yes, before you ask, "Yes, I have done the lvl90 expert's."
Now for RP value, I love playing the solo guy who shows up when he needs to, and it suits a DRK that is constantly moving around. And since I'm a part of an FC, I have explained this to our leader, and she has welcomed it with open arms, and we have a good story behind it all.
Now playing with the trust system (Dungeons/raids with NPC), I have died a few times, mainly because I did not know the mechanics. Still, after 2-3 attempts, I have cleared all of them except Hyd Raid, and the reason for this, I believe, was because the NPC's did not know how to move. In the end, they died, and it ended in a wipe in the 2nd portion of the raid, but with other players, it was easy, in my opinion, and from my POW, the healer did not have any problems keeping me alive.
So that's my POW, what do you think?

Considering the vast amount of blacklash with Drk its certain well see fix/rework, that being said prolly wont see it till late/end of EW expansion especially if they only just got to working on it...

Sure I have heard a lot of bad things about DRK, but in my opinion, I think in the end, it is all about the player's way of playing. For one, I can not pull wall to wall like a warrior, but even if I go halfway, I feel I'm still equal as fast due to the amount of DMG I'm doing.
So if you want to pull wall to wall and not break a sweat or get that infamous hitman on your ass from the healer, I suggest you go, warrior. But if you don't mind slightly smaller polls and do waste amount of DMG, then I can recommend DRK.
Before someone regales me about warriors, I want to point out that my warrior is only 50+, so my experience can lack a bit.

As I told others. I don't think there is a bad job in FF14 it's all about the way "you" play and "your" playstyle

I see a lot of people who love the aesthetic and story for dark knight. We just don't play it frequently any more because the current design of our actions is not the best to put it nicely. The rotation could use some work.

I'm not sure if I did understand you right but, I feel you more or less just reworded what I said, meaning: "he way "you" play and "your" playstyle."
So going on that, I can tell you that I'm never in a rush to play FF14.
I don't mind getting lost in a dungeon; to me, it only means I get to see new things, and I don't mind killing those three NPC's that just aggroed me instead of dragging them along to gain a larger group of NPC.
I play the game for the story experience and the visual beauty.
I will lvl all tank classes matter fact, I'm working on Warrior and Paladin right now, switching between them not to get bored, but in the end, when it comes to high end raiding and dungeons, you will most lightly see me play DRK because that is and will always be my main
