    What's funny about statements like this is Ultimate has a far higher participation and clear rate than Delubrum Savage, Diadem, PvP and a slew of other content that devs put significantly more resources into as Ultimate is almost entirely reused assets. Meanwhile, PvP is on its what, fourth revival attempt? What's also ironic is that without Ultimate, Savage's only value hinges on a third party website the devs don't even like. There's literally zero reason to even look at it otherwise. Clear it once or twice, then who cares? There's no content in the game where that gear has any value.

    Lol at people saying Ultimates shouldn't exist. The devs want to make it because there is a desire for hard content and it let's the them flec their creativity. The reason there's going to be one like ShB was because of the pandemic constraining their dev time, being unable to add another one.

    Idk where I heard of this but I think the person who made UCoB and UWU left or stepped off so that's why TEA was different.

    And ultimate is literally reused assets with some different icons slapped on the mechanics. The hard part is actually designing a challenging fight.

    And making Ultimate even longer is exhausting and longer does not equal more difficult. Wiping and having to start over a long fight is already painful enough. I'd rather a 3-4 act fight. If they do make it longer however, I wouldn't be opposed to it.

    So your only real interest is having some "prestige" to lord over other people? Because that's a terrible way to design a fight.

    Lets take your logic and apply it to something else:
    Doing 500 fates takes more skill and is more difficult than doing 1 fate.
    Doing a 6 hour dungeon takes more skill than a 15 minute dungeon.
    Doing Eureka for 500 hours takes more skill than 1 hour.

    None of these are true. The skill is in learning the mechanics and practicing so you have the muscle memory to do the mechanics while you DPS to beat the enrage but once you have that the only thing making it take longer does is turn it into a dull grind. You're stripping the fun out of it, not making it more skillful.

    Part of good encounter design is setting a good time limit for it. 30m is far too long for that type of content.

    If you want a challenge that takes long I would suggest looking into soloing PotD or HoH. I think those are on average around 7 to 15 hours if I remember right. But of course those allow you to take breaks between the levels thankfully
