1 ultimate instead of 2 ?

What if instead of two ultimates which last 15mn each, SE make 1 ultimate which last 30mn

More difficult (equivalent of 2-3 usual ultimates)
More prestigious
Introducing "skill check" (imagine you have to do "tea", just after getting through Golden Bahamut)

As they have less work to do (30mn dragonsong ultimate < 15mn dragonsong ultimate + 15mn omega ultimate), they can also add better cutscenes/new design for bosses and arena/voice acting/etc

30m is more an endurance test than anything else. For me 15m is already questionable.

Because most of the player base doesn't seem to even have patience for a 12 minute dungeon run. I remember how much people lost their minds for DR's un-essenced runs. Let alone imagine wiping after 25 minutes of constant engagement and now you gotta do it.. again.

Complexity through length isn't as good an idea as it sounds.

It's probably better for most people to keep 2 or three "bite sized" chunks.

Everyone is part of some 1%. The nice thing about FF is that mostly everyone gets a chance to do some content they personally enjoy. That keeps the community diverse, engaged, large, and vibrant.

Wishing people are disenfranchised from their fun, when it really wouldn't improve any other system, isn't something anyone with a good heart would do.

Ultimate participation is much higher than 1%. More like 10-15% and Savage participation has been skyrocketing. If they removed all content with a 10% or less participation rate, the game would fall to pieces. You'd probably lose multiple things you enjoy too. Grow up.
