Male Viera Naming Conventions

It's really common for NPCs to have those sort of non-surname epithets and they'll usually have that version shown overhead in battle instead of their actual surname, even if both are known.

Players don't get that choice, so you actually have to pick between giving your character a proper surname or an epithet as their displayed character name.

I'm still hovering in a state of indecision on actually making my Viera alt, but I'll probably be giving him an epithet as the display name and just have his actual surname in mind without using it. (Especially given how unpronounceable "wesfv" looks.)

If we still don't get anything after this maintenance, when the game is 'back to normal', I really won't know what to think anymore. It's about to be 50 full days since official launch... is it really so difficult to give even an indication of what their surnames stand for?

They're usually so good at giving people who enjoy roleplay and lore a basis to work off of, so why is it that this specific race/gender combination gets neglected in silence? I wish general rp was more popular so that this issue felt less niche, because god, does it feel bad just talking into a void.

I really hope that is not the case. They have already set the precedent of posting them here, the kind of people that care about this probably buy those books anyway, and they will no doubt be posted online as soon as somebody gets their hands on a copy. Holding them back for a book that probably won't be published until over a year from now? Ugh.
