    Well that's an entirely different topic. I don't like it thematically either. They *could've* kept it, either change it to be more thematic or stay as is, I wouldn't care.

    It really did not hurt the job's theme after Stormblood because by then, like I said, the DoT-based abilities were pruned out and we got to see more focus on Summoning via preparing and managing for Demi-Bahamut. Your DoTs? You press one or two buttons to apply, Fester/Bane and forget for 30s. That's it.

    People can complain all they want about how DoTs didn't fit thematically, but if people do complain about DoTs in gameplay where it's *apparently* hard to manage, then I would not think very highly with your skill and opinions.

    Agreed dots was mostly just there in SB and ShB. The only time I had fun "managing dots" was dueing my short time in TEA. Managing my dots on living liquid and Its hand to keep up full-up time on them was pretty fun but outside that one fight dots was very easy.
