Ah yes, the beautiful stigma that WoW supposedly runs on addons rather than a game engine. Yet I haven't required them for 99% of its content, and the times I did, it's because the content was - with the use of addons - still harder than anything any other MMORPG ever introduced. What in god's name even is a Healium? I haven't ran an addon for healing in WoW since 2005 and it's never been an issue for me, no matter the level of play.
This doesn't make any sense to me. FF14 has been, in almost every single way, easier to get into, down to the fact that in WoW you have to please your fellow player with a decent performance while in FF14 you can be afk 90% of a run and people need to thank you for it. What 'habits' do people have in WoW that don't work in FF14, exactly? Except not being used to lag being an actual game mechanic (anymore, since it used to be), due to the game engine being from 1995?
