Look at these weird defenders. Bet they are the kind of people doing this. It is spam as it is the same rp venue advertising the same thing over and over. I would report it 100%. You dont need 5 people putting up the same ad and I agree with someone else saying if they need to spam pf then they aren’t going to provide good rp anyways.

I was literally going to post and ask if you ever provide anything beneficial to the discussion, but I quickly found from your other posts that is indeed not the case.

I run a bar and club RP venue, and yeah the party finder spam is getting pretty bad. I do the majority of the promotion for my venue, but I make sure anyone helping me advertise isn't spamming out messages too frequently or putting up duplicate party finder listing if one is already up for our venue.

I'd also like if these 'larger' venues would stop spamming so much, particularly because it drowns out the single listing for my venue and makes it harder to be seen. But that's also part of why they do it, to try and drown out their 'competition' from being seen. It all just comes off as obnoxious and desperate for attention, which is why I refuse to do the same for my venue even if it ends up hurting our visibility.

Balmung had its reputation before Mateus even had a population of note - which, of course, mostly came from Balmung in the great exodus. The two might as well be one.

It only counts if they are misusing tags to make their entry appear at the top. If they aren't, then it's acceptable because untagged PFs should appear at the bottom of all the tagged ones and you can filter them out by tabbing over in the PF menu. If they are abusing tags, report it. But if they're not...then use tabs to navigate? I have an alt on Mateus and I haven't checked PF lately but last I saw most the players abusing tags were content sellers, not people advertising their RP venues. *Shrugs*

Shhh...don't tell people. I like our bad reputation. It keeps population lower and also frankly keeps away the type of player I don't like (arrogant, self-centered, "hardcore" raiders).

Funny story...I have a coworker who plays on Hyperion who keeps nagging me to move there. I decided to split the difference and made an alt on Hyperion. Was chugging through the story until I got to "It's Probably Pirates"... in a DF group of randoms we came a hairs breath away from wiping (coworker wasn't in the group) a third of the way into Sastasha...let that sink in...wiping in Sastasha.

So much for the "elite" legacy servers.
