By that same logic Savage in pf is also spam because it's the same thing.
When I think of spam I think of the same person spamming the same thing over and over again, not individuals all happening to be looking for or saying the same thing.

If it's the same FC I'd say it's spam but not if it's different FC's.
The same way it'd be spam if the same static had multiple members making multiple advertisements in pf for the same static.

Except most Savage listings are rarely copy-paste unless it's people trying to sell runs - and they get hit by the hammer quickly nowadays.

PF spam is PF spam, regardless of whether it affects you personally. Lest you forget, Crystal is the RP data center - so, shockingly, a lot of people will use the Other category to search for RP venues.

Reporting people and incurring infractions on others' accounts because you can't be bothered to scroll is petty, if it super-bothers you then shoot them a message about it. There's hardly enough listings in the other category for it to come to a point of impossibility to use due to some people occasionally posting a few of the same ad. So I reiterate: get over yourselves.

What are you talking about.
A lot of people essentially copy paste the same description for their groups when they search.
I am not talking about whether it belongs there or not with RP stuff that is a different matter in regards to whether it's spam or not.
Posting something in the wrong place doesn't make it spam either.

It really just comes across to me like '' I don't like to see it therefore it's spam '' when if you applied the same standards to other stuff that'd be spam too.
Why is 10 different parties all saying '' P1S weekly 2 chests '' not spam but 10 different individuals saying something similar having to do with RP is spam?

Again if it's the same individual or different individuals advertising FOR THE SAME venue then yes it's spam.
But if it's different venues and different people then it's not spam it doesn't matter what your personal feelings on it are it's not spam.

I looked, and I got through the entire list of things in about five minutes, if that. I don't think the problem is large enough to warrant the actions being called for, frankly.

I'd rather take a position where if they were asked, said no, then you blacklist them. That'll remove their listings from your view in the party finder, solves the problem of seeing them without needing to incur harsher penalties for no tangible reason other than retribution.

thats just lies plain and simple. I know quite a few people that have cleared high end things with PF. are there a lot of RP'ers, yes. but there are also many that know what they are doing and maybe they wouldnt let you play with them, I kdont know, but Crystal is hardly the train wreck its reputed to be.

Shhh...don't tell people. I like our bad reputation. It keeps population lower and also frankly keeps away the type of player I don't like (arrogant, self-centered, "hardcore" raiders).
