outside of the (e)rp in crystal pf, the issue with crystal pf is advertisements of clear parties that cant even get beyond the first big mechanics, meaning every party is a trap or a troll party.

Kinda funny honestly, since learning/practice groups usually end up clearing more often than clear parties themselves. lol A lot of the time, at least on Crystal, "clear party, know the fight" means they are asking for a carry basically.

That is usually the case with p1s. p2s is where the people that got carried really show themselves with reclears getting stuck at limitcut.

In short: crystal pf is a bucket of crabs and woe those that dont have a static to avoid this

thats just lies plain and simple. I know quite a few people that have cleared high end things with PF. are there a lot of RP'ers, yes. but there are also many that know what they are doing and maybe they wouldnt let you play with them, I kdont know, but Crystal is hardly the train wreck its reputed to be.

Shhh...don't tell people. I like our bad reputation. It keeps population lower and also frankly keeps away the type of player I don't like (arrogant, self-centered, "hardcore" raiders).

good point, likely why the WoW streamers went elsewhere, and look at the fun those servers had by being so leet

YES! Crystal, home of RP and all things bad.. filthy casuals galore! we couldnt clear Praetorium even with a full party not level synched!!!!!!

Funny story...I have a coworker who plays on Hyperion who keeps nagging me to move there. I decided to split the difference and made an alt on Hyperion. Was chugging through the story until I got to "It's Probably Pirates"... in a DF group of randoms we came a hairs breath away from wiping (coworker wasn't in the group) a third of the way into Sastasha...let that sink in...wiping in Sastasha.

So much for the "elite" legacy servers.

thats actually rather hilarious. I mean, I am certain it happens on Crystal, its just, I dont think I have ever been in a party that came close to that. at least not on normal

Yeah, it's definitely not THAT bad. I was just posting about my personal experience. With the bad there is also some good. The same could be said for any server/data center.
