It's shocking here since you are forced to do it all. Imagine new player experience when the first slight challenge they get from the story starts in ShB dungeons/trials and everything else melts quick. It's like that throughout the MMO, it's already a good thing that in FFXIV you have level synchronisation with the raid and dungeon.
On WoW, you can solo hard mode raids with 25 to 40 players from two previous expansions, why does that seem so shocking on FFXIV?
On some MMOs, there isn't even level sync, the loading screen time on Blade & Soul, if your PC is slow, the group has already finished the dungeon.

Most MMO's don't care about new players at all, quoted me how many have a level sync system, it's not perfect, but it's not as bad as you seem to say.
But it can't be perfect and I'd rather they allocate time for new content than try to balance old content.
So you'd rather he balanced the low level and we waited longer than a quarter to a half year for new content from the current expansion?
Time is a limited thing for developers, choices have to be made and even more so during this pandemic period. You think as a player that everything is done with the snap of a magic Emet-Selch finger.
Your thinking is well-intentioned, but it's not realistic.
