Over level or work with people, this is an MMORPG >.>.

I leveled to 50 then did them. There really is no use to doing it before then since beating the Ifrit quest just unlocks the level 50 version. So might as well wait till then.

Yes, 've seen people do it for their first time accepted in those kind of parties if they at least took the time to watch videos, have an idea of the strategies, and listen to other people advices.I seen Ifrit shouts but because I never done the fight myself that would possible lead to screwing something up. So I didn't join based on that reason. I didn't want to screw someones Ifrit up but then I can't learn the fight. I have watched people's videos of Ifrit and Mog on youtube but there is only so much you can learn from watching videos. I am sure I can do the fights though I have been in high end guilds in in other mmos like FFXI and WoW.
Would people be offended if I join their pick up group having never done the fight with the possibility that it wouldn't go as smooth as it would normally? Do people use vent for these fights? I actually would prefer using something like vent myself seems like it would go better.

You should be able to find a group for seal farming after the patch (don't expect one for a few days though)
If all else fails wait til 2.0 and content finder /only joking.... kinda
That being said you really need to start playing with people Zumi, you aren't going to get far in this game if you don't do the content.
Example above being scared to do Ifrit, it can be done with 7 people easy so even if you are on the floor dead watching you are still getting experience.

It's kind of silly to avoid doing content because you haven't mastered it. It's impossible to master something if you never try it.
Everyone has to start somewhere. Let your group know it's your first time so they can give you pointers. If you mess up, learn from your mistakes and better yourself from those lessons.
well now we have a reason to go to that dungeon, selling gear to companies is a great idea so u will get a lot of help doing that dungeon. especially this few first days![]()

I like having to clear one thing before going on to clear the next, its called progression and I enjoy it.
There are plenty of people who haven't done DH yet and its not really that hard to clear, that plus the fact that we will be able to turn in the drops for GS people are going to be doing it again, I know I will. You don't even need 8 people to enter anymore.
Honestly, if I found out someone wanted to do Aurum Vale but had not yet completed the prereqs I would grab some of my LS mates and spend the entire hour it takes to do it... You can hold me to it if we are on the same server ^^
My LS did the Moogle unlock quest and pop items over and over for others before we even got one single win... There is help out there but I can only speak for my experience.
A good LS can make or break your experience in this game... This is a MMO and you should have to work with others to do some of the content.

Not trying to insult you, but considering your ranks, and you saying you played since beta only shows you haven't actually had real time to get to know people...yea go figure i played since beta
I know noone in this game , let alone have a linkshell.
I figured if people are so ignoring/ignorant i gotto do it all alone and , people do not care about anyone / others not in their guild/ friendlist
It's sad because i will never do a raid or kill ifrit.
The main problem is theres no chatting area unlike many mmo rpg's.. people dont talk dont get to know one another and theresfor ignore everyone.. this game isnt a social game at all
I quit a while for that reason.. because things seem to be ipossible.. i see now i am back thing havent changed at all yet.
People like you are the ones that want to join a LS and be ASKED to join, then ask for help for something and have 10 people jump begging you to help you...but OMG never put in some personal effort...cause it could take time...well it does take time, but if you're not willing to spend it, don't complain about the consequences...easy as that.
I played since regular edition release...I met a ton of people and I'm constantly in contact with them, even during my 6 months of quitting I kept in touch...I'm even visiting some of them in the states this october(and I'm from germany)...so don't blame others if they are not asking you to be your friend...
