yea go figure i played since beta
I know noone in this game , let alone have a linkshell.
I figured if people are so ignoring/ignorant i gotto do it all alone and , people do not care about anyone / others not in their guild/ friendlist
It's sad because i will never do a raid or kill ifrit.
The main problem is theres no chatting area unlike many mmo rpg's.. people dont talk dont get to know one another and theresfor ignore everyone.. this game isnt a social game at all

I quit a while for that reason.. because things seem to be ipossible.. i see now i am back thing havent changed at all yet.

It's easy for someone in a linkshell to say "go join a good linkshell", but then think to yourself would you invite someone to your group that has done no end game raids, but really wants to join to do new content and do some fun stuff, and you would have to run through older stuff to get them up to speed? It's not easy as you think to get in a linkshell as some people seem to think it is.

My LS does Darkhold often, and we generally going straight to Batraal. So you will not only get the win if you get in touch with us we get the Batraal achievement and equipment too. by the way how did you all get the ifrit quest crystals solo
I tried queen bolete at lvl 25 and he gave me 250 dmg , knocked me out in 2-3 strikes
I thought this was a lvl 30 quest , how u supose to do that if you cannot kill those 6 mobs solo

Heck we've beaten Batraal more times with fewer than eight than more. Just ask around you'll be surprised at the results. Plus as I'm sure many have said on here, with the new rewards system more will be wanting to return to the old places to get more GC seals.

First you should never wait for a /sh to find a ls. You need to actively seek a ls if you want a good one. There are sites and posts on other sites that have recruitment, even lodestone has a ls recruitment area. I put in about 10 applications before I had a 50 and only got 1 pearl but I am still with that group. A good ls will rarely be just handed to you.

And it may be a server issue cause there isnt much of a problem with that on Mysidia. Our ls alone has gotten 5 new members I believe this week alone, some of which are still workin on their first 50. Server mergers may change that if it is a problem on your server and if it is start your own ls. There has gotta be other ppl in the same boat as you if it is a server issue so you will get members if its the case.

My main point here is you cant sit around and wait for a ls to come to you, usually even if you /sh they wont come to you. You need to be active in finding one. Go to some sites, fill out some applications. It may take a week or two but you cant get discouraged. Even if you do get a responce to a /sh it will be telling you to fill out an application, they suck yes but you gotta bite the bullet. If you havent gotten a ls since beta.... you either have a bad rep on the server or you really need to step up your game, be a little more social and make it known you are seeking a ls or as I have said tons of times, start your own, they are free after all.

One of the only thing that limits ppl from recruiting is the limited number of pearls you can hand out. But if you put yourself out there, realize your new and you wont get first dibs on everything for a little while and prove yourself to ppl you should be fine.

I seen Ifrit shouts but because I never done the fight myself that would possible lead to screwing something up. So I didn't join based on that reason. I didn't want to screw someones Ifrit up but then I can't learn the fight. I have watched people's videos of Ifrit and Mog on youtube but there is only so much you can learn from watching videos. I am sure I can do the fights though I have been in high end guilds in in other mmos like FFXI and WoW.

Would people be offended if I join their pick up group having never done the fight with the possibility that it wouldn't go as smooth as it would normally? Do people use vent for these fights? I actually would prefer using something like vent myself seems like it would go better.

Most people are not recruiting its very hard to get in a linkshell in this game.

there are tons of linkshells on Rabanastre. I see people doing Darkhold a few times a week.
