    I play all four tanks heavily, mained WAR in Savage for Shadowbringers, and I'm loving DRK in EW. It has a DPS feeling even with big tank cooldowns, and I've had problems tanking literally nothing.

    It can't self sustain like a WAR but that's an unimportant feature most of the time.

    Drk can be good tbh but there's a lot of thing that are less fun about it. Living dead stayed the same when holmgang and superbolide got buffed, tbn punishing you if you use it at a wrong timing (well it pops fast now so at least there's that), salted earth got changed and i don't find it good (you can't place it anymore, it's more like a nerf imo), dark mind is situational and easly becomes useless, blood weapon still doesn't have stacks and that's more a personnal thing but delirium being almost the inner release isn't great imo we have already war so at least making delirium more different would be a good thing imo.

    It's a harder version of WAR. Maybe switch to that? I am highly enjoying DRK, to the point that I am switching off WAR for it. The damage is attractive. I tend to run with good healers too, and I've never needed LD outside of Savage or certain extremes. Fricken Titania lol.

    Where is the hard thing in the problems that i listed tho ? Delirium got easier and even salted earth make the rotation more fluid. Blood weapon needs a good skill speed to find, but even with the greatest skill missing one hit can happen because it's not practical (even players that are the top complain about it). Even tbn is not hard to use at worst case use it on tankbusters only. Dark mind will become useless not matter what if there's no magic dmg, unlike any other defensive CD that you can use any time. Living dead isn't hard for the drk player, it's hard for the healers at most. In fact as a drk you can't say living dead is hard to use, you got all the time in the world to use it correctly.

    I don't think war is easier, the difficulty isn't on the damage but on playing defensively imo. And personnaly i feel on auto pilot with drk after the opener, not saying i play perfectly but it feels easier than a dps imo.

    DRK is just a harder version of WAR. There's more cooldowns to watch, more resources to manage, more doubleweaves to execute. It is also less forgiving, as it has far less personal healing and a more punishing invuln. All of these things are manifestly obvious. Not sure why the statement confused you. It is harder.

    As i said drk is harder than war for doing dmg and war difficulty is elsewere. Less personnal healing is not punishing for you, it's punishing the healer (he has do deal with you taking more dmg or dying because you didn't use 1 or 2 cd).

    I'm not confused, i have said that war is easier for doing damage because it's more busy i actually agreed with you. But war difficulty just isn't there that's all : how to use bloodwething to get the best result? When to use equilibrium+Thrill of battle? Should you chain with shake it off after or keep it? There's a lot of things to look at imo or you could just do dmg and then yes war is easier than drk if you look at how many things you have to keep track of.

    You seem confused by the distinction between 'harder' and 'hard.'
