Sales resumption, Home World Transfer resumption, and Oceanic Data Centre announced

It will discourage a huge number of oceanic players in jp worlds from moving to the new datacenter though which will slow down population growth there. Why would people move to an empty datacenter unless the ping is unbearable for them in the jp datacenter.

A good portion of the OCE and SEA players in my FC on the Elemental DC (the same as Tonberry) are going to be moving to Materia when it opens. Nearly everyone in one of my linkshells, 99% of whom are on Tonberry, plan on going to Materia as well. There will be no shortage of people heading there, I assure you.

This is my fear as well. Unless the new oceanic datacenter is connected to the jp datacenter for duty finders etc. The low population of the new oceanic datacenter will be a big problem.

As the unofficial EN DC, Elemental's going to lose a substantial portion of it's population when transfers open. I'm honestly more concerned about finding DF groups on the JP servers than on the OCE ones.

A lot of us on Tonberry do NOT want to move. People like me are in Japan. A lot of others are in SEA rather than Australia and would get worse ping to the new DC. No need to force it on anyone.

Would you please expand on this, Seida? The great majority of people from Tonberry and Kujata that I have contact with are planning on moving. I realize since I'm not on Tonberry my communication pool is small and I'd like to know more about how the general EN population on Tonberry are feeling and why. Thanks!
