Isekai + Fantasia?

I'd probably become most focused on learning as much as possible about magic and magitek though and may possibly create a calamity of my own when one of my experiments doesn't pan out as planned...

You don’t need to Isekai yourself into FFXIV to bring about potentially calamitous engineering incidents; just get into hardware design and find new and exciting ways to let the magic smoke out of things!

(Source: work at hardware design company for day job, may or may not design orbital gerbil-powered doomsday devices in spare time. Not that you can prove anything.)

Joking aside, nah… if I had to end up in the world of this game myself, I would be perfectly content to be my character as she stands.

Get to be a lady as in real life but tall and leggy with excellent senses, agility and long life.

I wouldn't change anything. And most likely stare at myself for hours in the mirror in my apt ingame. The only thing I WOULD change into is a female miqo'te later on. But I'd love having the legs of GODS!

Since fantasia are a non-canon item, the few that happened to be in player inventories when the Great Isekai-ing happens would become extremely sought after when a large chunk of the world's population realizes that having big annoying ears on the top of your head that bump into your bed's headboard or the tops of doors isn't comfortable. Can't imagine having horns for ears would be pleasant either. Neither would having to figure out how you would even sleep with those.

I'd love it. The only thing I'll need to get used too is boobs and no longer standing up to pee. BUT I get a tail, and I'll be the martial arts master I always dreamed to be. - Monk- The ears and tail wouldn't be an issue since we'll be in the game's world and everything kindof works out for them there. NOW if it were a reverse Isekai and we just woke up as our characters in the real world.... then we'll have problems. Like then the ears and tail would be a huge problem. Cause like..... what would you do with the tail in the real world? Tails are thicker then people think.

she has her own personality...but i am a fantasia addict so it doesn't matter xD , i would definitely use a fantasia to change myself probably into a smoll adorable lalafell .. i've always wanted to be a small and cute walking pillow

Not really. Already satisfied with how my WoL look. The aesthetician is enough for me (the only time I use fantasia was to only change my eyes color).

However, it will be nice if we can keep one bottle of fantasia, assuming we're allowed to change in-game after we got isekai'ed.

I'd not log back in for a very long time. I'd figure out how to set up enough of a private server that I can get the game to log in and then put the whole thing in storage for when I'm seriously ill or seriously old.

As for my character, hmm, probably stay the same, depends how long I last IRL.

I like being a man, but if I make it through my whole life then seeing things from the other side might be neat. If I get crippled in my forties or something though I'd probably fanta first. Either way though, sticking with Viera, that 300+ year lifespan is just too good to turn down.

As a man who plays a female character... that's an interesting question.

Maybe not immediatly to experiment how it is to feel in her shoes but... IRL I'm fine as a man then, most likely I would end to switch to a midlander male hyur. Playing a female miqo'te is just for the eye candy. If we consider that becoming our avatar is switching from 3rd view to first view... eye candy doesn't make sense anymore.
