I'm sure I have even more "interesting" sourcebooks laying around somewhere for other tabletop RPGs... >.>
A lot of these things make for some hilarious reading as they try to make lore for those types of things and activities.
Just saying, those Hrothgar and Roes are a meance to the civilized races and need to be watched. If it's a law in the land you take the action in, yes. Remember, Eorzea would be, for all intents and purposes For Real and you'd be subject to all of the physical, magical, and civil laws governing each area/nation/"zone" you're in at any given time. Even though you would have an extreme amount of power relative to individuals or small groups, Nations and City-States have much more overall strength than any single, or even small groups of, adventurers.
The question is, what would constitute a war crime in the eyes of the Eorzean Alliance races? Is summoning a Primal a crime on the scope of mass-slaughter or is it only considered "weapon development" at a scale equivalent to a nuclear weapon?
Would summoning a Primal, knowing it would likely Temper massive numbers of people be considered a Crime Against Humanity equivalent to imprisioning and enslaving them?
I keep a close eye on all Femroes I see, trust me.
As I said earlier, given we could have mods and we know more of what we are getting into...whistles
Things would certainly be an improvement
Now that most of us have finished 6.0, I'm curious to see your answers. Have they changed with the addition of Bunny Bois?
Nothing's changed for me. I would be happy to be transported into the game and be incarnated as my character.
I was gonna be like, "Wow, thread necro", but it's the OP updating the question for the new expansion, and thus like... the rare relevant thread necro! It's like seeing a forum unicorn!
ANYWAY, to answer the question, nah, I'm still fine with being my character. Truthfully, either -- most likely my Highlander lady, since she's my main (and an omni-80 who's now on her way to omni-90), and... y'know, less adaptation to being a tall, buff lady instead of an average-height nerdy tomboyish engineer than there would be to being a cat-person.
But honestly, even my smol murdercat raid alt would also be fine; the one main change I'd have made to her was a different hairstyle, and I did that already in honor of the new expansion.
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

It'd still be weird, and still missing bits.
Ruined it tbh. I'd stay as an elf guy then.11. You can get pregnant.

Having changed race since this thread started, I might be tempted to change to one without a tail just for convenience's sake. I'd probably be catching it in doors all the time. Not to mention chairs.....
