Undercutting

I undercut by whatever amount. 1gil, 1000 gil, 200k gil. It depends on who I'm undercutting and how frequent I have to undercut / drive people away. It's just how life is on the MB. You either play the game or you don't. On our server we have several market artisans if you will that pretty much have dozens of retainers selling things. You gotta do what you gotta do for that precious gil.

I also want to mention that I don't know anyone who focuses on % in the MB. People are irrational so there's no logic to pricing. Something that should be worth 3million can be sold for 150k for a few months. It's not about supply and demand, it's just people don't compute how much money something is really worth. So I don't bother with % at all, it would be time consuming to do on so many retainers. Undercut if you want to undercut, I see people matching my price and I find this funny because this game doesn't work that way. What i do find stupid is gatherers see mats selling in stacks of 99 at 4.5k then they put theirs up for 600gil. Why? It was selling fine at 4.5k, now the whole market for that mat crashed. Those are the people you should be annoyed with, not everyday undercutters.
