You do not decide if something has value or not, the market does. Also, acquiring something and selling it to someone else who may then go on and sell it again is just simple trading of goods. Just because you see no value does not mean none exists.Look when it's about scaming people. Sell them something that worth 0 in pretence they can find a new moron to sell it to for more is a scam. It's a classic pyramid schemes. Organizers of such find them self in jail in lots of countrys. So there not going to be any form of debating if it's ok to do crime.
I wish being a cryptobro was a reportable offense.
Im pretty sure us as a people decide what is valuable.. not a bunch of scammers trying to peddle nonsense... but thanks. Also.. no one is buying it... You wouldn't be sitting here defending it THIS hard.. if you didnt have some kind of money in the game. Hilarious. "Its just a storage thing hyuk hyiuk!" Yeah.. no.. no one is stupid friend. Go peddle your wares elsewhere. This game doesnt need this trash.
You think people would get the hint after this crap failed with Ubisoft.

Exactly what is the issue? if you do not find it valuable then do not purchase it. If there is no demand there is no market. There are lots of products out there that I don't assign value to but that does not make it a scam. Everybody seems to be overly emotional regarding this. Once again, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a scam. Let's give an example. Say SE turned every outfit in the mogstation into an NFT tomorrow. SE did not add any cross game integration or trading, they simply made every item an NFT on the back end. Nothing would change for you. They could technically do it without you even knowing if no integrations or additional functionality were added. People need to separate their fear of a companies business practices from the underlying tech but that would require the mastery of one's emotions.Im pretty sure us as a people decide what is valuable.. not a bunch of scammers trying to peddle nonsense... but thanks. I've asked you this before, what value would doing this add? being wasteful and pointless is enough reason to be against nfts, nevermind any of the other stuff that people are understanably concerned about.Say SE turned every outfit in the mogstation into an NFT tomorrow. Unless adding an nft improves a system enough to justify its addition, it has no business being added.

This is a good question and really depends on what route SE takes. NFT's can stored on chain or off chain. If SE decides so they could store the NFT on a non centralized SE sever and allow ownership of the items you purchase. This would be in agreement with SE similar to you being able to sell Magic cards if you buy them. This would allow you to keep the item in the event of a server shutdown.I've asked you this before, what value would doing this add? being wasteful and pointless is enough reason to be against nfts, nevermind any of the other stuff that people are understandably concerned about.

Why would that matter? I can see people saying 'if the server shuts down then they have no value!'. This is incorrect. People like to collect things and not only that NFTs can have integrations outside of their originating game such as:
The ability for user generated content - SE mentioned this in their post when they mentioned 'play for fun' players. This was not a dig at the player base like many have said. From a company point of view they see players separated into two groups: Play for fun, Play to create/earn. It would be neat to have a talented artist submit an NFT outfit to SE and then be able to make a percentage of the sale for example. An NFT would be the best vehicle for this due to the ability to assign ownership and be separate from SE main items.
Cross game integrations: This could allow SE the ability to make it so that when you purchase an NFT, say an outfit, that outfit may provide you with a similar outfit in another game or the NFT might be able to be imported and broken down into crafting components in another game. SE could also work with other game dev's on integrations if they wanted to as well.

what use would such items be without the game they were hosted on? the same sentimental value could be achieved with a screenshot. This is a good question and really depends on what route SE takes. this can actually already be done with item codes. item codes you can also gift people if you so choose. item codes that can be limited for that sweet FOMO dopamine.Cross game integrations: This could allow SE the ability to make it so that when you purchase an NFT, say an outfit, that outfit may provide you with a similar outfit in another game or the NFT might be able to be imported and broken down into crafting components in another game. why would nfts be worth the investment if we already have technology that does the exact same thing?
Why not just take a screenshot? Ask a digital artist how they feel about someone just screenshotting their work. Ownership matters. Nobody cares that you screenshotted something. If I develop a digital art piece you could for sure just come along and right click save, but so what? if I NFT my digital art It can be verified that this is indeed my original and future purchasers know they are buying the original.what use would such items be without the game they were hosted on? the same sentimental value could be achieved with a screenshot.

About item codes: Item codes are just randomly generated codes from a central database (so no ownership and risk or closure). They are not unique and are frequently one time use items so user creation and trading are out. Also, they have no set standard in creation or format so implementation across games would be extremely difficult.

A: 4 paragraphs of things NFts wouldn't be required to add, or make easier
