they mentioned they're planning to do something major in regards the castrum meriadanum/praetorium, what exactly that is I'm not sure, maybe make them into solo duties?


Make the 2 MSQ dungeons into solo duties that a player runs once and is then done with unless they use New Game+.
The storyline of these actually makes more sense solo, and it would solve all the conflict over the length and the tension a new player faces of feeling rushed in the playable parts.
Turn a lot of the 'side NPC' moments into side quests. Much of New Ala Migo, Filaminon, and the whole dinner party before the primal could be side quests.
Things to keep would be anything that strengthens scion and ascian lore.
I'm of half a mind to say that even Grand Companies should be side quests - mandatory only for unlocking frontline PvP as they directly tie to that. Optional side content otherwise.
