Since Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare Glare is the pinnacle of game design, how about we spread the good word to the DPS role too? I'm sure they could benefit from it. After all, they don't have a designated paste-eating job and I think that's a shame. Everyone deserves the ability to play FFXIV from REM sleep.

We'll start with Black Mage. Way, way too many abilities. Too hard, can't manage it. This fire-ice thing is too complicated for one. Let's just have fire phase. To make it easier and more fun to play, we'll reduce the cast time of Fire to 1.5 seconds so you can weave with it. And we'll make Foul an oGCD so we have more super fun things to weave too! I want to reduce its entire gameplay loop to the following: Thunder, Fire, Amplifier, Fire Foul, Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Thunder Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire Fire....
