uhh..that's it? seemed you're clinically incapable of accepting when you are wrong. No thanks, I've put down plenty of proof whenever I have taken a stance on something. I'm not here to do your dirty work for you.
Also there's a lot of words in that post above, and they all seem to skirt around the fact that you're clearly and verifiably wrong in the post I linked.
Strange that. It's almost like you're confirming exactly what I'm saying.
Stay mad sir.
Anyway, this is expected. Have a nice day then.
Maybe it's because you keep moving a goal posts the distances of galaxies and practice mental gymnastics that makes a contortionist blush. Not a lot of people are willing to put up with someone as stubborn and dishonest as yours.
"A is not true."
"Actually, A is true- here's proof!"
"Well, what about B? That's not true."
"Actually, here's proof for B's authenticity"
"Come on now, Sure, B is true but C can't be either!"
...
"See? You can't prove Z, I WIN! [Insert passive aggressive parting phrase here]"
It's a funny game, the only winning move's not to play.
You're almost right, but unfortunately the "correction" Sebazy made was questionable too.Maybe it's because you keep moving a goal posts the distances of galaxies and practice mental gymnastics that makes a contortionist blush. She requested proofs to back up my claims, yet all she did was providing a statement without any evidence.
My tone would certainly change if she actually corrected my claims. Alas, she did not, but I apologize anyway. Unfortunately, such trait is not commonly seen in here.
It's not like I'd expect her to fall for my virtue signaling, just as I didn't fall for her suggestive question. It was meant to show how she disengenously claimed how she corrected me and then use it as an insult before I could react to it.
At least I didn't throw insult as she did to me, yet you're talking about being passive aggressive.

I don't see how I'd win anyways. What I want SE to fix, is apparently what they don't want: more healing to do and resource and cooldown management. Among a slew of other problems plaguing both healers and tanks (and some dps) in their identity crises.I didn't say you should be alientated, did I?
Do not misunderstand me, I am all for getting more people into enjoying healing and having a bigger healing player base. It's sad to see people get alienated over the expansion. It's not like I agree with everything what SE has done to healer role.
There's surely a middle ground, but honestly, I think SE failed on that part not only on healer roles but tank role as well. I think we still have long way to go before SE find that middle ground
I just don't think you have any hopes to win by playing "healing wasn't mean for you" card against people who embrace current healer design, because ,apparently, current environment is working to their favor.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
You most certainly did.
Emphasis mine.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Yes yes, we all know you think that weaving a healing spell 2-3 times per minute is action-packed gameplay because you're a troll whose entire gimmick is pretending to be every single Sylphie stereotype FFXIV has ever churned out.
Meanwhile, I leveled my WHM and spent most of my time pressing one button over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, barely healing, and hoping once I hit level 90 for my role quest I'd never see the word Glare ever again.

I love how you think I'm a troll, when I'm telling you straight up, putting on some really hype music like big doe by moe/ family ties by Kendrick etc and pressing broil into fey, broil into illumination, boril into protraction, etc chain etc etc is actually fun for me. I really do enjoy it, I sorta understand why some of you guys don't because your generally just bored with the game and not taking in the experience for the experience I think. But to me in "my opinion" it is fun. I like constantly moving my character etc. But you have to understand I'm the type of person who can play an RPG to something like "The King" by YFN in a tales/rpg and run back and up down an hallways for 100 XP when it takes 2500 to level up per 3 minute fight. Seeing numbers get bigger, seeing the numbers of your enemy go down, as you get stronger, seeing your own skill improve as you can just start to style on bosses by just outplaying them doing little movement, because you perfect your positioning etc or you just over level them, that is fun to me in a RPG. The fact that you can see yourself improve and just dog down bosses/mobs that gave u problems before.Yes yes, we all know you think that weaving a healing spell 2-3 times per minute is action-packed gameplay because you're a troll whose entire gimmick is pretending to be every single Sylphie stereotype FFXIV has ever churned out.

i honestly think you should switch yo astro. even when i dont heal i have nearly 36 apm.
when i leveled whm to 90 i was falling asleep on the wheel
The biggest issue is that square just can't reconcile that some people won't play some jobs optimally. Instead of accepting that people will do that and complain about jobs being hard, they lower the skill ceiling on them. Sure it might make the more casual players happy, but even then for a job like this it's very rarely going to make someone who hated the job start loving it and want to main it. Meanwhile those who enjoyed it before feel alienated.
Agreed.
AST certainly seems to be numerically inferior but with Sleeve Draw gone I'd say the busywork is just about in the right place now. If the payoff for it gets a small tweak upwards then it'll be absolutely spot on IMHO.
The more oGCD centric kit feels like it flows better with with the across the board 1.5 second nukes too. Lilies don't queue so well and almost feel macro'd at times.
