Okay, so, for the longest time I dreamt up a job, that I would love to see in Final Fantasy.

Since I am in love with that idea, I am extremely biased, so I would like to know what you think about it, even more if you dislike it.

So, we have seen a fair share of evil bloodthirsty edgy necromancers, yes? I would like to try a different route.

Instead of some kind of sorcerer, I imagine a necromancer more like a priest/ess, armed with a shovel.

Instead of using the dead as their puppets, they help stuck souls to find peace by comunicating and giving them a proper burial. Especially on the battlefield I like to imagine a handful of priests and nuns silently burying the lost and easing their suffering that stops them from entering a certain place in Endwalker.

The struggle of said necromancers could lie in the cultural differences of burying rites, the grief of those left alive, people envious about their ability to talk with the dead and being neutral between opposing sides of war, which can lead to conflicts in combat.

I chose the shovel, because I see it as a tool first and then a weapon. With my fantasy gone wild, I would like this shovel to not only be used for digging, but also as a catalyst for earth or life based spells, but also maybe a tool to comunicate with the buried, like a receiver for aetherial waves in the ground, or something like that.

I had this idea since I heard of bhudist monks having a shovel in their travels (correct me if this is false).

So, what will the gameplay be like? I dont care, if someone likes the idea, they could make sense of it. I'll stop for now, please tell me what you think about it. Take it apart "xD
