Btw. try to play without the Sound BlasterX Katana-thingy. Maybe it helps.

Unfortunately less than 3 hours later I just got the random black screen again. So a fresh OS reinstall and a reinstall of FF14 did not fix the issue.

I have done a memtest with no errors, stress tested my CPU and it did not crash. My Seasonic 80+ Titanium 750w is (and has been) sufficient for these parts that have not changed. I play games that are more graphically demanding than FF14 and all is fine. All that has changed is...Endwalker came out along with the myriad of DX11 issues I see on the tech forurms. I have been monitoring my temperatures and all is fine. I even purposefully cranked up my case fans, CPU fans, and GPU fans to 100% just to see what happens and still I get the black screen. There is no rhyme or reason, the only commonality is FF14. Yeah it didn't happen on day 1 of EW, but its hard to say if I would have had those issues on day 1 or not due to queue issues. I went days without even bothering trying to play or could only play for a very short amount of time after waiting 3+ hours to get into the game.

The Sound BlasterX is just the audio driver for my soundbar. It's not any special software. The game has crashed using my soundbar and using my Corsair headset. I also have a Steel Series headset, but I have seen posts saying that people with Steel Series specifically have been having issues with the game crashing as well.

I'm not mad at you, its just frustrating because there is definitely something wrong with FF14 right now. Hopefully when the support team comes back I will hear from them to provide whatever is needed
