Living Dead's design isn't so much of a problem, the issue is that Dark Knight itself cannot even hope to remotely sustain it. You press the button, pray your healer can deal with it, and if they cant you die. There is nothing you can do to help them save get off 1 or two soul eaters that won't even contribute 5% of your total HP.
