He's been saying that for years though.
He encourages people take breaks, and always has.

Think what you want, but he doesn't want his player base burned out. He doesn't want them ignoring real life.
He's not Blizzard.
I no life MMORPGS, I've been playing them longer than you have. This one is different, and it's formula works.
He might encourage you to take a break, but as we all know, housing encourages you to keep paying regardless of if you're playing or not. He might not want you to get burned out but he does want your money, so let's not pretend there's anything altruistic in this. It just make you seem like a fool.

Housing demolition is suspended currently, so take your break. He might encourage you to take a break, but as we all know, housing encourages you to keep paying regardless of if you're playing or not. Also, no need to play every day anyway. I imagine most people take small breaks.

You could just let the house go if it's that much stress. It's not like it's required for anything. If you know it's such a problem and cling to it anyway, then that's on you.He might encourage you to take a break, but as we all know, housing encourages you to keep paying regardless of if you're playing or not. The housing excuse vs casual gameplay is not really valid; He might encourage you to take a break, but as we all know, housing encourages you to keep paying regardless of if you're playing or not. Originally housing was not meant to be for individual players but for FCs, so if a specific player wasn't on, as long as someone else was the house is fine. The only reason we have personal housing is because the devs caved to player wishes.
So, yes, while that is on the devs, the player base has to accept responsibility for this. We wanted this, so we have to accept the consequences, even if the devs are ultimately at fault for what I'd say was a bad call.
