(6.0 spoiler?) what's the deal with platinum color?

It's related to dynamis-the Elpis flowers that use dynamis are platinum.

Dynamis will probably continue to be important in the story.

I wish they wouldn't have used that word...I get flashbacks of Dynamis raiding nights from FFXI.... nothing more infuriating than getting the group all setup and another group comes in, sniping the zone from you and locking you out of the zone your group was going to farm for relic armor and currency for the sponsor who paid for the entry.

And a new group would form and try to farm Xarcabard every raid night and we had to say, "You can't do that. There are four other raid groups that are already doing the same time slot, and they would like to farm Xarc and Beaucedine at least once a month too, you know?"
