You could try one thing: reset your router in a timeframe when you usually do not play. Many ISPs have 24h disconnect. If you play from 8 pm - 11 pm then reset you router at 0 am. Maybe your ISP will disconnect you at 0 am next day because of the 24h disconnect.

It depends on the type of service, but particularly with cable sometimes newer standards are considered compatible with older ones yet modems made to use those standards will cause an issue exactly like this with many ISPs - a daily disconnect for less than a couple minutes at a predictable time. If you own your modem and have to buy a new one to test it out, that's probably not the best plan considering how brief the interruption is, but if you just get a modem lent to you by your ISP you can usually just request a replacement and this type of issue could go away. For OP or anyone else, if it's free to you this is worth a try.
