Singtel user here.

Connected my desktop to my mobile phone's hotspot (StarHub), launched the launcher successfully and got to the in-game login page.
I then turned off the WiFi and re-connected via ethernet, and proceeded to enter the game.

However, the issue persists after closing the game.

Using Singtel and faced same issue.

Found someone's suggestion to change the DNS server ipv4 to use Google's DNS instead (1.1.1.1).

To change your DNS server on a Windows 10 computer, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Change Adapter Settings. Then right-click your internet connection and select Properties > IPv4 > Properties. Finally,select Use the following DNS server address. Enter 1.1.1.1

This worked for me.

same issue here, checked reddit and google, nothing seems to work, i play from Ind and use JP servers to login, hope it gets fixed soon.

Well I am using Singtel's free router. If you have other type maybe you need to change the DNS in your router interface. I also put Alt DNS as 1.0.0.1 and just to be safe, change Internet explorer's DNS setting from detault to Google's DNS too.
Someone also suggest change both IPV4 and IPV6's DNS.

Anyways I heard someone say this is caused by India's government's block and Singtel is routing us through India or something.

Welp, in that case thanks for nothing GoI. I had trouble with simple subscription payments before because of my country and now this. I give up.

If ppl are facing this issue i found the quickest way is to "vpn load open" if using steam just open steam then open vpn press run then when it gets pass the issue and ask you for your info close vpn i used 2 mb or service just doing this so it seems to be a quick work around all i did was select auto vpn no special country and it worked im sure any free vpn will do it seeing tho it only requires a few mb each time
