Maybe you want that I dont want that I think tying the procs to the songs was a very good move as you no longer have to dot everything just to be able to attack it with any decent damage worth a dam. The fact out of combat or like between a boss phase the song is still giving you procs and or refilling your bloodletter charges and also the soul gage which is a big one feels very good. Mages ballad never left the only issue currently at play is that a proc is decreasing the cooldown not completely resetting it. If your saying you want the old AOE back its still the exact same AOE now just now you have a chance to proc shadowbite and again if the proc of the song reset the cooldown instead of just decreaseing the cooldown the delay between ladons and rain of death would be the same feeling as before. Only difference is your no longer having to dot all the mobs while the tank pulls now you just get to pop a song and aoe immediately which is what the rest of the jobs are doing and guess what its moe damage then ticking dots between pulls. As I said if your going to give the dots a purpose tie it in with sidewinder so your rewarded for keeping them up during the burst phase done.
