This thread seems to have devolved into personal insults.

I wasn't insulting you at all.
I just find it amazing that people are worried about a video game subscription's timing and that people cut their finances that closely just to maintain a game subscription. I mean, $15 is... that's not even a lunch anymore hardly in many places of the civilized world.
No insults meant at all. I'm just trying to understand why else you'd care when the payment is taken out and that's the only reason I can come up with.
Said boss fate will be in the game for years to come. Is there a reason why you need it right now? Meanwhile there's lots of people who aren't even Lv90 yet who would love to at least see the story and have to wait while people like you do nothing but camp boss fates.
One person's playtime is no more valuable than another person's playtime. Sorry, but no. Just because someone has finished EW MSQ, does not mean their playtime should be reduced. Their subscription is just as valid as yours. The money the paid for the game is just as valid as yours. So, here's a couple ideas I've had on what could be done to alleviate congestion:
1). The playerbase: IMO, anybody who finished MSQ should take a week or two off, to let others who have yet to finish MSQ log on and get that done. But no, thousands of players are logging on and staying logged on and doing stuff like grinding tomestones and other stuff while a bunch of people who can't get on for trying who wanna do the MSQ making things worse for everybody. Have some consideration for your fellow player. Endgame dungeons and gil farming can wait.
2). To SE: One thing I think should be done, is sort the queue by /played time this week and time both. For example, if there's 5,000 people in the queue, you'd sort that queue by /played time this week (you'd have to keep track of this obviously). Those who have less /played time should be placed at the front of the queue, for example if I enter the queue and I have 2 hours of /played on a Friday, I jump ahead of someone who was already in the queue who has 20 hours of /played time this week even though they entered the queue an hour before I did (but yet if there's someone else who entered the queue 15 minutes ago who also has 2 hours /played, they get on before I do). They already had 20 hours this week, they can wait. Let somebody else on who hasn't been able to play yet.
EDIT: 3). Actually, SE could enforce #1; place all characters who have finished Shadowbringers MSQ but not Endwalker MSQ ahead of those who have finished Endwalker MSQ. That way, players who have yet to get caught up get a better chance of doing so.
Whatever someone chooses to do in the game, as long as it doesn't violate the TOS, is entirely their right to decide. You, and no one else, has any right to demand they be penalized because they completed some content before you.

You logging in for however much time, 10+ hours a week, vs that guy who wants to log in, but can't due to RL obligations and not being able to wait hours for queues who only gets 2 hours a week.
You got your money's worth, they didn't.
You should stand aside so that they can get their money's worth.
Why should one guy pay $14.95 to only be able to play a couple hours a week because of the nolifers who play 40+ hours a week who can log on wee morning and stay logged on all fricken day?
You're basically acting like that kid who goes to those game demo setups (back when stores still did that) and hogs it for hours and won't let anybody else play.

I was referring to the thread as a whole, I was reading over the past few pages as well. We need moderation here, that's for sure. I care because I had a specific schedule. It bothers me, what more do people want? I don't need the game time anyway. I have no use for compensation, as I have played the game every single day since early access launch.I wasn't insulting you at all.

Also, I used to buy $50 dollars worth of fantasia (minimum) a month, I could buy one (several) right now.. I do have the urge to switch to viera to avoid tail clipping, but I am trying to be better. I have hundreds of dollars saved for PC parts on the side. It's not finances. The scheduling just annoys me. Do I need to bring out some OCD card or something too?
Now, I'll head out.
