that's funny you saying that nobody got what they wanted. everyone that i know on my server is going where they want. i do not know of anyone that has wanted to move that has not already made their choice. i am not saying that everyone has been that lucky, but what i am saying is that the thousands of people that wanted to merge and stay with their community have gotten exactly what they asked for. we were merged and we stay together. i agree that the optional transfers could have been handled better, but as far as the merge itself it did exactly what was asked to be done.

Michu, your arguing with a bunch of people that got exactly what they wanted from this merge and didnt have to try to transfer anywhere. That being said, they are never going to see your point of view because theirs comes from a place of contentment. This merge made most of the people that were already on a server that was fairly populated happy while still screwing the rest of us that come from ghosttown servers and want to move. Your wasting your breath.

This option was perfect in that it made the people that were already fairly content with the game before hand happy, while still doing absolutly nothing for those of us that weren't. Day 4 of all the servers being closed still, stellar job SE!

Being on a ghost town server is not a reason to move. That's what the "merge" is doing. None of the new servers will be ghost towns. If your goal is to move away from a ghost town, you should stick with your current server. That way, someone who really does need to move can. "Transfers" are for people that want to play with their friends that are already on another server, or so that people can move to a place with a higher concentration of people in their time zone.

You're absolutely right. It's just sad to me that people are content with mediocrity. I can understand not really haven't a stake in the matter but to actively defend it is just inviting more of the same old same old from SE. They haven't learned from their mistakes and the paying customers should hold them accountable rather than trying to blame the players.

please, oh please, show me any numbers that has karnak as anything besides one of the lowest populated servers. i am on a ghosttown server myself. i wanted a merge to be around a higher amount of players. i am being default moved to join up with 2 other servers that are also lowly populated.

now next point. you want to go back and see where i have been content with this game at all? show me where i took up for this game besides how the merge has been done. i have been very critical of most of the moves the dev team has made.

like i stated, yes, the optional transfers could have been handled better because it is an inconvenience to the small percentage of players that are trying to move. i am not going to attack the merge method though because it is doing exactly what the members of my very lowly populated server asked for. we are being merged with other servers so they will no longer be ghost towns.

maybe they should just get rid of the optional free transfers all together. they can do server a and merge it with server b and nobody goes anywhere. after the merge goes live then open up paid transfers and charge 20 for people to change servers per character.

Just wanted to take the time to thank you both, were it not for these two posts, I would not have checked the forums again last night and gotten moved to the server I wanted. I have managed to get some friends moved as well and hopefully it will open up again later this week to do so for the rest of my ls mates. I had literally checked 5 times yestarday and given up when I saw these posts.
