Scholar - Broil IV sound effect is very unpleasant

I heard it exactly like the OP, sounds like a lalafel shouting and I’m not a fan. Broil II was always my fave sound effect for this line of spells.

my character has cute voice and you know what.
I have to hear that much lower pitch than my actual character voice. it haunts me.
it like someone grunts whenever I use broil IV but my character voice is 100x cuter than that

Broil IV sounded like stomach growling, while AoW II like bubble gum pop.

Pretty sure in JP the Broil spells are named "Heated Argument" or something, probably why it sounds like a shout.

It is actually. It comes from "Embroilment" which literally means "-to instigate argument/discord.".

Now... I wouldn't mind if they gets an upgrade into "Roast" 'cause .... "Broil"...

Wow, I never knew their was vocalization in the Broil IV animation. The sound effect I hear reminds me of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" from Rimuru Tempest skill called "Megiddo".

I was wondering if there were other people dissatisfied with the Broil IV sound like I am, and I see I'm not alone- but everyone seems to be hearing various things. Possibly because each person hears in different octaves and such? And that progresses with age? Also variables like speakers, headphones, etc.

Anyways. I'm hearing more of a scratching sound, in a 'squiggle' form (not sure how else to describe that one). It feels quite like I'm listening to nails on a chalkboard and I honestly don't even want to use my Broil IV
