This is why I always recommend people - as in my fellow raiders - to just silently kick instead of pointing out any issues you might have.

It's a solid solution. 'Difference in Playstyles' is a viable and SE-sanctioned option.

I am not convinced the silent kick/disband + blacklist is the healthier option than if we were just able to openly say what is going wrong. Then again, there are often times other things you can bring up long before looking at damage numbers like dying repeatedly or eating many damage downs. Usually being bad at a job and being bad at mechanics go hand in hand.

I don't want to deal with that, and I don't think that the majority of people enjoy having toxic behavior directed at them. At least with static groups you can leave the FC and avoid them.

Then dont join a parse pf, it's as simple as that. PFs are all about finding like minded people to do something explicitly agreed upon. That's like joining a fresh prog party and expecting them to clear on first pull. No one can force you to join a parse PF and if you dont like any of the currently available PFs for the content you want to do, just host your own.

Why do you assume that there'll be toxicity and passive-aggressive remarks just because they proclaim they'll be using a parser to determine whether or not you are fit for the group?

The only people that should be worried are those that shouldn't be allowed in that group in the first place. If you're that in need of getting carried, this isn't the type of group for you. Go join one where toxic casualism prevails, perform like rubbish, get carried to the kill and laugh at them from behind your screen for not being allowed to deny you the chance of loot despite having underperformed.

They are both against the TOS. You can report who you like just be careful you can be banned for false reporting. Not sure how you're going to know who is using nude mods unless you're using them yourself. Be that as it may that won't be making parsers legal in this game because the Director has gone on record numerous times about their use.

Personally I don't understand why we're using parsers in non-static based groups now. If that's just how it'll be now then fair, but hopefully those running the groups take the time to help those who join and don't meet the mark. I feel like kicking someone from a group based on numbers is harassment in some form or somehow breaking the ToS.

It's everybody's own responsibility to make sure they are ready for the content they're about to tackle before joining a party for said content. Melds, buff food, being confident enough with their rotation that they won't tunnel nor get so distracted by mechanics they completely lose track of it.
If someone doesn't meet these requirements it's well within the party leader's rights to kick said person after giving it a couple of tries. That's not harassment and not toxic. If someone is not ready for the content the queued for, it's toxic to expect 7 other people to patiently guide them through everything until they're hopefully ready.
Nobody should be told in practice parties to keep their buffs up, use their oGCDs to meet heal checks, use mitigation on tankbusters etc. - practice parties are not for practicing a class, they're for practicing a fight under the assumption that everyone is already fairly confident on their chosen class.

Therefore, your first example would simply see the PF lead silently check logs of whomever joined and kick those below a certain threshold: usually 70-80% unless they're aiming to speed, in which case it'll be 90-95%

The latter... isn't against the ToS and will never get them in trouble. I've always found it silly how people have to be both secretive yet obvious about parsers.

That is keeping it to themselves. Nobody is forcing you to join their party. Why not simply ignore it like any other party you aren't interested in joining?

Evidently, it's the word itself that upsets you. Would changing "barse" to "Skipping 2nd Merry-go-round" "Skipping VG2" "Exceptional DPS required" be better? All three are essentially parse parties dressed up with different terminology that will never get flagged by a GM.

Why should players in a weekly two chest or farm party be expected to teach someone who isn't ready to join those types of parties in the first place? I'm all for helping someone with rotational improvements, tips or whatever but not when I'm trying to farm 99 runs of a Primal or simply get my Savage weeklies done on my alt.
