How? They're still using it for themselves. They're allowed to comment on other facets of the battle if they want. And whatever else is said is done in an entirely separate setting.

Commenting and using every possible chance to insult and crap down on people are a completely different thing Mia. I too get frustrated when i notice a permadead dps or a player who by use of his skills just does not the required amount of damage for savage or Extreme. But then i tell em that in a polite fashion and ask them to practice their Rotation before Entering harder content.

I'd understand if people were being insulted in-game. As that's explicitly a bannable offense. But regardless of if a parser is used or not, harsh criticisms can still fly behind close doors. I'm 100% certain people had discussed me in an unfavorable light - but that's largely irrelevant because I've never heard it personally.

Yeah, I'm most definitely missing your point. As I don't see how them venting in an out of game setting is a problem.

You say that like those need to be mutually exclusive. It's possible to use a parser for your own benefit, primarily for the purpose of self improvement, but also notice the reason your run is crawling at a snail's pace is because melee dps #2342 is doing less dps than your half-afk healer and it seems a little sus. Venting to friends is a far cry from harassing strangers, and doesn't make you a liar just for saying you're using a parser for yourself too.
