Well that's a bit tricky, to be frank it wasn't the best idea to buy this game right with the start of the new expansion. I guess things would have looked much better if you had waited a month. I think we all will get a compensation sooner or later, because there is no excuse for how things are now and if they don't want to totally screw their reputation they will have to do something. I honestly dont care if Yoshi P crys tears in a Livestream and says he is sorry a thousand times. I paid for something that i can't use (except i log in and play in the morning), end of the discussion.

I agree that people are right to be frustrated, but I disagree that there isn't a good reason for why they can't immediately fix it, and I cannot condone the people demanding that things are fix immediately as if Yoshi P can use creation magicks to conjure hundreds of server machines out of thin air. Global chip shortage is hitting nearly every industry hard, many considered more essential for daily lives than video games.

Sry, i know what you mean but i cant hear this lame chipshortage excuse anymore. The lack of servers and the issues we have right now where well know long before the chip shortage even started. The only difference back than was that it wasnt this dramatical during the release of the previous expansion because FF14 wasnt this popular and the advertisment wasnt this effective. It was well know months before EW was released that there werent enough Ressources and they still lured in as much players as possible and didnt even put a stop free accounts during the release to at least reduce the upcomming issues a bit. Sure as a company SE wants to make as much money as possible, but they also have to make sure that everyone who buys there product can use it. If someone sells a product that cant be used or just under specific circumstances and dosnt let you know before the sale its false advertisment.

I like SE because they make a lot of games i like but deffending them for something that could be prevented in time and saying its not their fault is simply wrong. Its like selling you a car without letting you know that there is no key.
