FFXIV x Marvel Crossover Event Suggestion

Have they said the Nier reception is why they arent doing a collab raid this time? I thought it was because Endwalker was supposed to be an expansion about FFXIV, and so the raids were going to be used for XIV stuff?

They would never directly say that because they want both brands to succeed, but off all the collaborations it has been the most controversial.

If it had been a huge success, they obviously would have done another (a la Dragonquest) because it’s just easier to draw from pre existing content than to have to design content entirely from scratch.

Case and point, Ivalice was well received in 4.0, so they did Nier in 5.0.

I don't want any marvel garbage in my game... it does not belong here at all, besides Disney would never agree to it and SE will tell Disney to GTFO due to their rabit terms.

I still haven't forgiven Disney for what they did to Marvel Heroes online... I once interviewed a member who worked on the growing MMO and he stated that Disney shut it down due it being 'too much work and not enough profit' along with a bunch of other things.

FFXIV should just stay away from any random crossovers like that.. This definitely cant be a serious post. But still, no.

Marvel is formulated generic garbage that has no interesting story. If they were to team up with disney they might do it with kingdom hearts IF another game comes out eventually but I doubt it. I hope to never see marvel in this game.

Look, I'm a comic nerd. Heck, I spent years as a comic book author. And yet, this would get a massive no vote from me. Of all the crossovers we could possibly have, Marvel would be one of the last I'd ever wish to see.

Marvel has infected almost everything else. You can get your juvenile Marvel fix literally anywhere else. We do not need a hundredth iteration of the same tired Spiderman and Avengers tropes, certainly not in FF.

XIV has been just as juvenile since Shadowbringers.

To be fair you really don't know what Disney would agree to and not agree to. Disney has a good working relationship with Square Enix currently, so to say it's not possible is not really accurate.
