Take a break. Yoshi P and gang already said they are doing their best and you will just have to suffice with that answer.

No one pays to sit in queue but it's not as if SE can just fix this situation with money. There is a shortage of hardware to the point that they have elected to use their own back-up dev servers to help with the issue. The fact that they're cannibalising their own internal systems just shows how desperate they are to fix the queues, and how bad the situation with the acquisition of new hardware is. They simply cannot get their hands on the hardware that they need.
And even if they got new servers delivered today they wouldn't be ready tomorrow. The servers would have to be unpacked and put together, software would need to be installed, they need to be connected to a complex network, and they need to go through network and security testing. Considering the scope of setting up servers for a game as huge as FFXIV this process would not be swiftly done. To top it off there are health concerns for the server staff because of the pandemic so that would slow down installation and set-up as well.
SE literally cannot do more than what they're already doing. It is not within their power to fix hardware production issues because they do not manufacture server hardware.
It's also not their fault that WoW became so bad that a mass exodus suddenly made the FFXIV population explode beyond anything anyone could predict.
