So you're fine letting a game see what other programs you're running? Because I'm sure as hell not.SE needs to address the elephant in the room and implement a program that verifies files and executables that might be affecting the game. That way you tackle in one fell swoop: bots, mod users, assist tool users (like ACT).
Any other fix other than that is a band aid fix that will get infected and start bleeding again next expansion.
Do you use Google, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Snapchat, Tiktok, etc. etc. etc.? If you do, you are already being monitored. Just don't do illegal stuff and you don't have to worry. It's easy.

And people with half functioning brains take measures to mitigate how much that garbage can track you. Intentionally letting more in is asinine.
The only measure you can take is to unplug your ethernet cable, sell all your possesions, cash only no credit card transactions, and buy a private island in the middle of the Pacific. And even then it would probably be too late.

Ah yes, the only way to minimize how much a couple companies can track you is to completely sever all connection to the modern world. Thanks for making me feel better at least, sure I might be schizophrenic but I'm not that detached from reality.

Google and YouTube, and I give them all fake information. All they know about me is what I do on their sites.
Its getting cold. Can I sheer some of your wool to make a sweater?
