200% sure this is a bait post. No one could possibly be that oblivious as to why three minutes would be absurd.

SE needs to address the elephant in the room and implement a program that verifies files and executables that might be affecting the game. That way you tackle in one fell swoop: bots, mod users, assist tool users (like ACT).

Any other fix other than that is a band aid fix that will get infected and start bleeding again next expansion.

File verification yes, snooping around the files on someone's computer absolutely not. We don't need any more mustache twirling, wannabe technocrats in the world.

Among other problematic things, ACT has sound notifications for when skills come off cooldown which completely babyfies the complexity of rotations and it's something console players don't have access to, thus being an unfair advantage.

And of course people performing illegal activities wouldn't enjoy being busted and having their illegal stuff taken away/punished.

Do you honestly believe if they implement a 3rd party app tracker someone on SE HQ would be sitting there 24/7 checking what youtube videos you are watching, or what stuff you purchase from e-bay or what adult websites you are visiting? Curb your self importance.

Or you know, having something that the entire raid scene considers to be an invaluable tool taken away with no replacement because Yoshi P has pretty much declared there will never be an in game parser. Even console players will ask their friends on PC to parse them and why fflogs exists. Also, people set up their extra hotbars with extra large icons of skills so they can see what skills are coming off cooldown much more easily than listening to a sound that can get lost in voice chat and the game's sounds. Honestly, you are kind of making a bad faith argument with this.

Not to mention the invasion of privacy that this would create. The other issue is that the information would be stored on SE's servers in someway. Even if SE never uses the data, it is still a huge privacy risk if anyone else were to gain access to it. Even if not, the idea of a company having access to such information would garner such a massive backlash.
