Scholar - Broil IV sound effect is very unpleasant

Do you mean the sound effect from the ability or the shouting sound from your character . Personal I am really satisfied with the sound effect tbh and wished they keep it.

The shouting sound you hear is not from your character. It IS the sound effect.

i tested again and my character shouts every time he is casting the spell. perhaps the reason why it sounded like a broken lalafell male sound is because your race is a lalafell. If they decide to patch it i think they should turn off the battle shout, i understand it could be annoying if hearing it every cast. But to me, Broil IV sounded like Chinese firecracker or sometimes like thunder. I like it a lot.

You just blew my mind. I thought it was my character shouting too. Now listening to that post above with the sound clip yeah I hear that it’s supposed to be the spell

Wow that’s crazy this whole time leveling I picture my WoL shouting every time he cast it LOL I even contemplated changing his voice because I wasn’t a fan of how the “shout” sounded but I got used to it

my character has cute voice and you know what.
I have to hear that much lower pitch than my actual character voice. it haunts me.
it like someone grunts whenever I use broil IV but my character voice is 100x cuter than that
absolutely worst broil ever
