Healing over time would be preferred, but can be without it.

What I don't like about Eukrasian Dosis is the clunkiness in AoE situation. Other healers just cast their DoTs and scroll through enemy list, while Sage has to use two buttons for each enemy which is far from comfortable. I wish it had a Bane-like effect to spread. For example when the target is hit with normal Dosis, or when the target hits Kardion user, or something like that. It's fine single target, but during large pulls... not a fan.

It's the opposite for me. I feel super comfy with Eukrasia Dosis since it feels like I have to actively turn on my skills to DoT instead of autopiloting. Sage feels good to me at in AoE since I have Dyskrasia, Toxicon from pre-shielding, and Phlegma to use. I rarely find time to manually DoT outside of just running to the next mob pull since there's usually enough pulled that it's better to just use Dyskrasia over Eukrasia Dosis by then.

I really miss healer aoe dots. "Eukrasian Phlegma/Toxicon" could've been Sage's Bane equivalent.

On a similar note, do dots even do decent damage anymore or are there just for fluff? I dont's use meters or anything but it feels a single Glare/Broil/Malefic/Dosis does more damage than the entirety of their respective dots and we didn't even get any upgrades this time around either /shrug

so apparently the only option that doesn't "stress the newbies" is either pressing 1211111111, or do nothing at all.

If they get to tick for their full duration (or just enough to surpass our nukes), then I guess yes..? Although it's not too noticeable.
    • Dia > Glare x11 = 4,070p of damage across 12 GCDs
    • Straight Glare x12 = 3,720p of damage across 12 GCDs
That's just for WHM... 350p in difference. That's just about slightly stronger than 1 extra Glare.
All healers DoT starts to surpass their nukes beyond their 5th tick.
