In FFXI, one reason I would have changed would have been to be part of a solid established pet LS. But with FFXIV there's not really a need for any such specializations yet.

However, my favorite all-mithra LS from FFXI on Shiva has reassembled on Fabul > Balmung and I'm somewhat tempted to go join them! Kitties FTW!
