It's entirely irrelevant that it's an expansion launch, because on 6.1, I'd still have to spend time doing the MSQ to access the content I like. Time I'd rather spend doing something else.

The MSQ content of a x.1 patch, and subsequent patches, generally doesn't take as long as the MSQ content of a x.0 patch. That still doesn't explain this "wider breadth of content" that you could be spending your time on during the initial expansion launch, if you were able to skip the MSQ right away. Unless you're referring to time spent in other games.
