Story-skip potion for endwalker

So, just let us skip it. I nearly quit yesterday to to the "In from the Cold" scenario yesterday, but only got past it after watching several videos and a post listing the coordinates of the items. Without help, there was no chance I would have figured it out.

I'm loving the story so far! Some hard scenarios and a few little 'ugh' moments with the follow quests, but it was nothing terrible.

Do what? Well I would do the same things after skipping the MSQ that you do after finishing the MSQ. Or do you quit the game then?

Leveling up other jobs, crafters, gatherers, prep mats for gear. Collecting the dragon mounts from last expac's trials or any of the other ones. Make gil for a house. Decorate the house u already have or prep items for decorating your future house. This game isn't 90% story there's way more to do than just sit in a cutscene and then run back and forth lol.

My favorite thing about people asking/talking about story skips is that there are always those few people that get weirdly passive aggressive and/or hostile about it. Like..it literally doesn't effect you why are some of you heated. If a homie wanna skip, let em skip.

That's not hard to explain. I would argue many of them aren't bothered by it at it. And why should they be, it doesn't affect them. What they are bothered by is someone not seeing things their way and so, therefore, it's wrong or bad and they just have to tell the world how wrong and bad it is and get those hearts and likes. That's the world we live in, today, in a nutshell.

Aye, that is the gist of it. Let people play how they want. I mean they literally sell skips in the mog station already so they know some people don't care one wit about the story. The only issue is that the subsequent story patches are not out yet. Meaning that unless the new story doesn't require you going through EndWalker's post story to access, the people who do skip won't get the entirety of the value of said skip at this time.

This is the only issue I see with this. It took me awhile to learn this lesson myself, but here goes: If something about how another player enjoys the game bothers you so much, why are you playing an MMO? "Online interactions not rated..." is the hint that you can't and should not attempt to control someone else's play style. Telling them to quit is tantamount to a child throwing a fit because another kid has more fun playing soccer instead of baseball. We deal with it and choose to find others who enjoy the game the way we do. It is the only option we have.
