I too hope that Yoshida and company learn to differentiate between tedium and difficulty. If they insist on a loot treadmill style of end game, I hope that they make the content challenging (difficult) and the rewards obtained simply by defeating the content rather than repeating it over and over again (tedium) due to low drop rates.
