Not a comment that's FFXIV specific but there are a large number of people who simply see 'consumers' as outspoken vocal minority babies that should just burn their money and be happy that the fire was supplied.

And to be fair, sometimes consumers can expect a bit too much or have unruly expectations. It's just baffling to me that people who aren't being paid will defend a company to the teeth when something is blatantly going wrong. We're allowed to be pissed off with a service if it's not working as intended.

A long waiting queue is entirely expected but telling us to 'appreciate' constant error codes and being kicked to the back of line requires a certain suspension of disbelief on my end. I suppose some people just have time and money to burn.

It's also not unreasonable to want to vent that frustration, especially if you're particularly passionate or have expectations. I suppose having an emotional reaction to something makes you a petulant manchild nowadays! How toxic. :3

You're allowed to be pissed off... other people are also allowed to disagree with some of the stances these pissed off people will take. That's what baffles me, always the mindset of 'if you're not as pissed as i am and don't entirely agree with me you're a corporate puppet'.
