Having waited through the long login process I was greeted by a lvl 80+ in Limsa with "OMG another sprout(I am lvl 70)! You are not allowed to log in to my (expletive) game during early access! It is for 80+ only! It's your fault the servers are melting down!

Yeah that advice becomes just lovely when they get to endgame and find that you get maybe a day or two to learn and clear EX trials in PF before all the decent parties require Duty Complete (and you end up having to jump on the "clear for one" bandwagon just to stay freakin sane)

I’m perfectly happy sitting in a queue when an expansion releases, but I’m not happy when I keep getting booted from the queue after 5 minutes, then relog to be even further back in the queue, only to get booted again.

I guess the white knighting will stop once the Karen army finally get to speak to the manager. I am surprised that after all the hype for EW, after the playerbase explosion on 2021, and after the very public problems with adding servers people actually managed to be caught off guard with server issues on patch day. Amazing.

In a perfect world it would be great if we all got to log on with ultra stable servers and no queue but this isn't a perfect world. It will calm down reasonably quickly and it wasn't hard to predict the first few days would be rough. Sometimes we have to queue for popular things, it is what it is.

Those people who avoid auto-logout with shennanigans deserve to be forced to only listen to Simon Cowell's music forever, that's how scummy that is.

Maybe they should have expanded there database and servers years ago this is no new game. You can blame it on very poor management on SE and not on the shortage.

A company that expands its server capacity when there is no anticipated demand for such an expanded capacity is not a company that will be around for long. The mass influx of players and the pandemic were not anticipated.
