    So I mean... right now you're just crying to cry? Maybe click and read the notices in launcher as you're logging in more often? They have them there for a reason.
    Please read the comment and don't straw man me. I did read both posts but find them wanting. This was the same response they gave last time in greater detail. I do keep up with the notices in the launcher because they hold a lot of helpful information. This has gone past a properly worded PR post. I was respectfully expressing my frustration at the fact the Dev's didn't do enough to be prepared. This is a reasonable criticism to have for the current situation.

    What more do you expect them to do? They warned back in July that the player count had exploded and connection issues would happen, they warned several times before Endwalker that issues would happen, and they explained why they would happen and their current plans to help alleviate the issues. They just can't pull hardware out of no where, they tried to pay triple the prices for some things and were simply told no, since the hardware just didn't exist.

    So again, what more do you expect them to do? What do you feel, they should have done, even after the many warnings they issued.

    Its almost like there's been a dangerous virus ravaging the world for the past year and a half now. A year and a half ago Shadowlands was just releasing and no one knew exactly how badly that expansion was going to fail expectations (failed even worse than Battle for Azeroth, I might add) and nor was anyone anticipating a sudden shitstorm of lawsuits hitting Blizzard and causing even more players to leave. So no, SqE didn't see any of this coming until we were deep into Covid-19 and a working class that refuses to work until they get better pay or whatever.

    SqE has already acknowledged the problem, so now you're just going to cry that their attempt to purchase hardware necessary way above the market average still didn't yield any product? Good for you, I guess? You can't just make hardware appear from thin air regardless of how much money you toss at it.

    My que times are about the same though... Like a couple minutes.

    And servers aren't easy to get currently due to certain chip and part shortages worldwide due to Covid

    yeah, New World is a good example. it has no problems at all *chuckles*

    there is a shortage, and they cant get their techs out to travel the world. its simple as that.

    Didn't the devs specifically said in a letter that they couldn't open up more servers because they couldn't secure the required hardware?

    I accept this explanation months ago. You are honestly telling me knowing this is a major issue that they have not found some way or made some progress. The problem has only gotten worse. How long until they do something that lasts longer then a single expansion. This is not the first time this has happened and at this point it is a fair criticism to have. I like this game a lot like I have said but it is still fair to say they have failed at fixing this problem for a long time. I am not asking to get in with no wait on day one of a new expansion. What I am asking is to not have to wait over an hour to get in as well as being booted from the queue more than once. It is too much to ask for perfection I agree. I am only asking for tangible improvement.

    After finally getting in I am going to go enjoy the game! I hope all of you get a chance to play as well today!

    Oh dear, did they really use New World as a good launch? Ouch, I missed that. People were in queue's for weeks, and now the games practically dead after losing almost 90% of its players since no content.

    The excuse of there being a lack of semiconductors is true, but SE using that as an excuse for them not to upgrade the servers for over half a year is complete bull****. With the kind of money and influence that SE has, they could've acquired them very easily considering that I can literally go online and put together a 10-20k server build and have it shipped to me within a month's timeframe.

    Funny thing, they did do more server work before early access. One reason the game was delayed two weeks, among others. They wanted to be sure the infrastructure could handle most of the load, and honestly? Considering most of the issues are laying with the login server? They did quite well. Very few are getting disconnected from the game, even with massive congestion.

    They did make progress, and they are working on it even now. One thing this game does, is work on things. They're stubborn about it, ruthlessly so, doing whatever they can. That's all we can expect.
